Dr. Logan Brant

Logan Brant, Ph.D., P.E. is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with Geosyntec Consultants in their Houston, Texas office. He has been a practicing engineer for 15 years and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in nine states. His practice areas include offshore geotechnics, pipeline geohazard mitigation, geotechnical investigations, slope stability analysis, ground improvement engineering and foundation design. He has experience and knowledge of most geotechnical sampling techniques, in situ test methods, and geotechnical laboratory tests. He has made significant contributions to the execution of numerous complex onshore, nearshore, and offshore geotechnical site investigations, through which he has provided on-site inspection and client technical representation services, as well as office-based engineering and design support services. His pipeline geohazard mitigation experience has been focused primarily in states in Northern Appalachia, include West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.  His offshore field experience includes projects in Gulf of Mexico, Mozambique, Cote d’Ivore, Brazil, and British Columbia, Canada.
