Salvage and Decommissioning
As a first step, the Salvage & Decommissioning Committee has published a Discussion Document - 'A Cross Sector Approach to Assessing the Impact of Man-Made Objects, Materials and Substances (MMOMS) on the Marine Environment in order enter a dialogue with the marine science community on both a national and international level, in order to derive a consistent methodology for quantifying the impact of 'property' on marine ecosystems, and ecosystem goods and services.
